PGT Trucking Partnerships

PGT understands our customers’ commitment to corporate sustainability and green initiatives. Through our investments in innovative transportation, we are focused on reducing operating costs, fuel expenses and CO2 emissions, while increasing capacity and utilization, and creating more economical freight rates.

Over an eight year agreement, PGT will deploy 1,000 Autonomous Relay ConvoyTM (ARC) systems. Locomation’s autonomous vehicle technology is expected to produce an estimated 30% reduction in operating cost per mile, including an 8% reduction in fuel expense that removes over 40 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the air per convoy annually.

Nikola Corporation

This collaboration includes a Letter of Intent to lease 100 Nikola Tre heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). FCEVs will help PGT further our objectives to improve driver experience, reduce our carbon footprint and increase the efficiency of our operations while providing great value to our customers.

Carbon Emission Reduction Goals

Reduction of CO2 emissions of company-owned fleet by 2025
Nikola Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks received by late 2023 and into early 2024
